In Memory of Former Councillors Angela Alder and Roger Beeching
Sawbridgeworth Town Council is deeply saddened to announce the recent passing of two former councillors, Angela Alder and Roger Beeching.
Both gave many years of dedicated service to our community, contributing to projects and decisions that have shaped the town for the benefit of residents. Their commitment and passion for Sawbridgeworth will be remembered with gratitude.
As of today, a Book of Condolence will be available in the Council Chamber for those who wish to pay their respects and leave a message
Updated Opening Hours:
9am-11.30am on Wednesday 24 December.
The books of condolence will then be available at Great St Mary's Church the weekend between Christmas and New Year, returning to the Council Chamber on 5th January 2026, Mon-Fri 9am -3.30pm.
