Sawbridgeworth Town Council
There are 12 Town Councillors who give their time and effort voluntarily and receive no payment whatsoever.
The Town Clerk, Richard Bowran and the three administration officers (part-time) are all salaried staff.
The statutory duties include management of the cemetery, the allotments and some of the Town's open spaces and play areas. The Council also administers two charitable trusts.
